As a new type of pipe, PP-R pipe has the following performance characteristics:
1. Energy-saving PP-R pipe production energy consumption is only 20% of steel pipe, and its low thermal conductivity [0.2W/(M.K)] is only 1/200 of steel pipe. It is used in hot water system to greatly reduce heat loss.
2. Use PP-R pipes for corrosion resistance, dirt-free, sanitary, non-toxic use to avoid secondary pollution of water quality caused by inner wall dirt and rust caused by galvanized steel pipes. Under the conditions of operating temperature of 70℃ and working pressure of 1.2MPa, long-term continuous use, the service life can reach more than 50 years.
4. The density of PP-R pipe with light weight, high strength and low fluid resistance is only 1/8 of that of metal pipe. The pressure test strength is as high as 5Mpa, with good toughness and impact resistance. Because the inner wall is smooth and rusty, it does not scale, and the fluid resistance is small.
